Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society for two-year colleges, as recognized by the American Association of Community Colleges.
Find Out MorePhi Theta Kappa provides its members the opportunity to improve their communication, leadership, teambuilding, and goal-setting skills through hands-on leadership activities and online video courseware. Members can design a self-paced plan allowing them to choose how competitive they want to be, from one star to five stars. The requirements at each level provide members with experience based on Phi Theta Kappa’s four Hallmarks: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Members can also build an online portfolio that will showcase their accomplishments, and that they can share with scholarship providers, admissions officials, and potential employers.
Ready to take off?Members may apply for more than $37 million in transfer scholarships provided exclusively to Society members by more than 700 senior institutions.
Members can request letters of recommendation to their college admission counselors, scholarship officials or potential employers.
Members receive The Golden Key Membership Pin, Membership Certificate, and Membership ID Card.
Members have ample opportunity for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service work.
